Pumpkin Patch Field Trips at Cedar Hill Farm

Invite your group to pick the perfect pumpkin and celebrate fall at Cedar Hill Farm! πŸŽƒπŸšœ Our Pumpkin Patch Field Trips are educational, hands-on, and perfect for schools, day cares, scout groups, youth/church groups, kids camps, home schools, and more. Students will ride out to the patch, pick their own pumpkin, learn about farming, and enjoy farm fun β€” all in a beautiful fall setting just south of Memphis.

Dates & Times – September 24th – November 6th, 2026

  • Tuesday – Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Note: Only a few dates available for private pumpkin patch field trips. Groups must have 250 or more students for private options.

Important Group & Tax Notes

  • Groups like day cares, nursing homes, scout groups, kids camps, youth groups, church groups, and home schools may qualify for school rates (subject to 7% MS sales tax).
  • Tax-exempt groups must bring a copy of their MS sales tax exempt letter upon check-in (one per school on file); out-of-state letters not accepted.
  • Home-school or in-home daycares must pre-purchase online for school rates on non-home-school days, or pay general admission at gate.
  • Unscheduled groups may pay general admission.
  • Field trip rates not offered on weekends.

Field Trip Packages & Prices (Per Child)

Package #1: $12.00 per Child πŸŽƒ

(Parents can pay online or at the gate)

  • Entry into the farm
  • Hayride out to the Pumpkin Patch (1 free pie pumpkin per child)
  • Petting Zoo
  • Ag in the Classroom Chicken Show
  • Education Station
  • Cedar Hill Rail Road
  • Use of Play & Picnic Areas

Package #2: $15.00 per Child 🐴

  • All of Package #1
  • Pony Ride for each child (children must be under 48″ to ride)

A 4-Punch Card can be substituted for older children who have outgrown ponies:

  • 1 Punch: Feed Cup, Small Popcorn, Farm Fresh Donut, Paintball Shoot (20 shots)
  • 2 Punches: Pony Ride, Snow Cone, Large Popcorn, Small Kettle Corn, Kiddie Soft Serve Ice Cream Cup/Cone
  • 3 Punches: Cotton Candy, Medium Kettle Corn, Paintball Target Shoot (100 shots), Regular Soft Serve Ice Cream Cup

Package #3: $20.00 per Child πŸ”

  • All of Package #2
  • Farm Lunch: All-beef Hot Dog, Chips, Juice Drink, and Dessert (substitute Hamburger/Cheeseburger for $1.00 more)

Package #4: $17.00 per Child (Concessions Available for Adults)

Payment & Reservation Details

  • All student money must be collected and paid as one payment upon arrival through a group leader (school check, cash, credit card accepted).
  • Adults/staff must wear admission wristbands (pre-purchase online recommended for faster check-in; parents/siblings can pay at gate).
  • Field trip children do not get wristbands.
  • Average time needed: 3 hours (including lunch); shorten by skipping some activities if needed.
  • Book early in the semester (early week, away from major holidays like Halloween/Good Friday) to secure dates and avoid crowds.
