Cedar Hill Farm is the perfect place to host your child’s birthday party. Basic parties include a ride on the Cedar Hill Rail Road, a tour of our Petting Zoo where the kids get to pet and feed goats, sheep, cows, pigs, miniature horses, donkeys & rabbits. There are also ducks, chickens, turkeys and peacocks in the petting zoo. Then everyone washes their hands and the group watches our singing chickens sing happy birthday to the birthday kid. After that all of the kids (under 100 lbs) get to ride a pony & then the whole group goes on a hayride around the back of the farm. The whole tour takes about 1 hour then you can eat and open presents, then let the kids play on the playground. You may bring in your own picnic food and drinks, have pizza delivered or we can provide catering if you like. If you book one of the covered or indoor spaces the party goes on rain or shine. If you book a picnic area and it rains during your party time, we will refund you, if there is no covered areas available to move you under. If you have a covered or indoor space rented but the rain prevents you from doing the farm tour, or part of the farm tour, we will discount the party accordingly. The birthday child gets a Cedar Hill Farm T-Shirt included in the package, do not forget it at the end of the party.
Price: The Basic Party Price is $300 +tax for an outdoor shaded picnic area by the playground (4 picnic tables, seating for 40 – 50).
$350 +tax for the Produce Stand Barn w/ ceiling fans and gravel floor (4 picnic tables & 2 wooden counters, seating for 40 – 50).
$350 +tax for 1/2 of Pavilion #1 w/ ceiling fans and concrete floor (8 banquet tables, seating up to 64).
$350 +tax for 1/3 of Pavilion #2, this pavilion does not have ceiling fans and has a gravel floor (10 banquet tables, seating up to 80).
$400 +tax for the indoor Dining Room w/ AC & Heat (7 wooden tables & chairs, seating for up to 40).
The Barn Hall if available is $500 +tax (AC & Heat, 12 – 120″ round tables, seating for up to 100).
All of the party areas are near the playground. If you have over 25 children that ride the pony there will be a charge of $10.00 +tax for each additional child. We do not count the adults during these private parties and there is no discount if you have less then 25 kids. A $100 nonrefundable deposit is due at the time of booking, the balance is due the day of the party. This is for a 2 hour party, (1 hour farm tour & 1 hour of party time). You also get 30 minutes before to set up and 30 minutes after to clear out of the party space. So a total of 3 hours in the party space. An additional charge of $50 per hour or $25 per half hour will be added to your bill if you stay in your party space beyond your reserved time. If we have another party booked after your party in the same space, extra time in the space is not optional but the kids can still play on the playground after the party for a while either way.
Space in the barn can be rented if you just need a farm themed space for a party and do not want to do all of the farm activities. Catering can also be arranged for a separate fee. Please contact us for prices.
Catering: You may bring in your own food for birthday parties, no outside catering companies are allowed to set up at our property but you may order pizza and have it delivered. We also offer some options below. If you have a large group of 50+ other catering options including buffets are available, please email us for a menu and prices.
Farm Sack Lunch: $4.00 each + tax. Includes: an all beef Hot Dog, Chips, Juice Drink and Dessert. Substitute a Hamburger/Cheeseburger for $1.00 more.
Chicken Tender Platter: $39.95 + tax. Includes: 30 Tenders either grilled or fried with Ranch, Honey Mustard & BBQ dipping sauces.
Beverages: $15.00 + tax for 3 gal of Sweet Tea, Un-Sweet Tea or Lemonade. Includes: Cups & 2 Bags of Ice.
Bag of Ice: $2.50 + tax
Party Favors: $1.00 each + tax for Cedar Hill Farm Helium filled balloons. (Bring your own balloons and use our helium tank to fill them for .50 per standard balloon, $1-$5 to fill specialty balloons + tax)
Face Painting: $125 + tax for one hour of painting for up to 25 children. (an additional charge of $4 for each additional child over 25)
In the summer each child can pick a pint of blackberries or blueberries from our berry fields to take home as a party favor. Please see our produce price list for prices.
In the fall each child can pick a pumpkin to take home with them. Please see our pumpkin stand price list for prices.
Availability: (Saturdays Only except during our Fall and Easter Seasons.) We may not be able book a birthday party more than one month in advance (sometimes we can book up to two months in advance) due to weddings, company picnics, family reunions and other large private events that we must schedule the birthday parties around.
This party package is not offered during our Fall Festival or during our two week Easter season.
During these times you can have your party at the farm but you must pay admission for both kids and adults, for group rates and available activities during these two times please visit the Pumpkin Patch and Easter pages under the Seasonal Events menu drop down on our website. If your party is during our Fall or Easter seasons and you want to pay for your guests, you can bring a list of names of guests that may attend that day to leave at admissions along with your credit card info. Then you can come back at the end of the day and settle up based on how many guests attended that day.
We also offer between Thanksgiving and Christmas our annual Breakfast/Pictures with Santa.
